MyFM's Rick Michaels - The Town of Milford is searching for a qualified candidate for the position of Town Accountant whose responsible for developing and implementing the town's accounting system and procedures. Candidates need to send in a letter of intent, up to date resume and evidence of educational coursework. Information which is due by the end of the day today to the Milford Board of Selectman’s Office. The board, along with the Town Administrator and Finance Director, will review all applications this week. Next week three finalists will be chosen and interviewed with an appointment of a new Town Accountant after Milford Selectmen conduct intereviews and then make their selection at their next meeting on August 21st.
