By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The Bellingham Board of Selectmen have announced plans to recommend the continuance of tonight’s scheduled Special Town Meeting. Residents will be voting next month on several articles, which are part of the warrant for the Special Town Meeting. There are 16-articles on the warrant, including three zoning by-law amendments, impacting sections of Hartford Avenue, Farm Street and Maple Street. Article 14 would establish a downtown residential development overlay district the petitioner is Kevin Lobisser of Milford with the purpose of this district, being to support a development of a mixture of small lot upscale single-family homes and town homes, in a village-type setting in close proximity to the downtown area. The Special Town Meeting will be continued until November 14th, at the Bellingham High School auditorium, beginning at 7:30pm.
