By MyFM's Rick Michaels - As the Annual Water Use Restriction went into effect last week Bellingham the town has two important wells that are currently out of commission prompting the town to urge residents to conserve water for another few days. The Bellingham Department of Public Works is asking residents to curtail unnecessary water use. Parts for the wells out of commission are expected to arrive today and barring another mechanical breakdown. They should be back to normal by the middle of this week. The DPW is asking residents to not water lawns or gardens, wash cars or fill your pool for a few more days. Meanwhile the official water ban, prohibiting lawn and garden watering from 9am-5pm in the town of Bellingham, went into effect last week and continues throughout the summer.
