Blackstone Valley Art Association is calling out for submissions to their seventh annual Anything goes Photography Show. This is our most popular show, last year we had 104 photographs submitted for the show. It was an excellent collection. We are hoping for the same turn out this year. The Open Sky’s Gallery has become a hub for the arts in Uxbridge, member- ship to the BVAA now includes members from Charlton to Framingham to North Attleboro. The gallery is open Saturdays for free paint ins and companionship. During the photography show we will feature photography classes. On Jan. 15 at 6:30 our prominent photographers will present their different versions of working on a series. The opening reception for the photography show will be Jan. 18 from 5-7 p.m., wine and light refreshments will be served. Information on how and when to submit can be found at BVAA.ORG. Check our web page and like us on facebook to keep in touch with all our activities. In our Milford Gallery at the Local Access TV studio we will be showing Winter Wonderland works. At our new exhibit venue, The Muffin House Cafe, in Mendon, Carol Frieswick has a collection of still life and water lily paintings. This venue will feature an ever changing array of works on a monthly basis. We continue to show works at Hunter’s Tavern in Grafton Center as well.
