Franklin 13 Mansfield 5 - Freshman Matt Lazzaro netted four goals to lead the Panthers to victory. Eric Civetti, Zach Alexander, Will Davis and Chase Tanner all chipped in with two of their own. Tanner also added an assist. Connor O'Rourke was good between the pipes as he made eight saves and held Mansfield down. The Panthers moved to 7-2 overall and 5-0 in the Hockomock League.
Grafton 10 Hopedale 5 - Hopedale hung around with a very good Grafton team and only trailed by two at the half. Unfortunately, Grafton found it's way and took over after the break to drop the Blue Raiders to 7-2 overall and 3-2 in Mid Mass Conference play. It was Hopedale's second straight loss after opening the year with seven straight wins.
Franklin 17 King Philip 9 - Franklin picked up their second straight win by opening up a 12-2 first half lead over the Warriors. Eric Civetti registered six goals and four assists to pace the Panthers. Jake Davis scored three times while Matt Lazzaro scored twice. Connor O'Rourke made three saves in goal before Will Davis replaced him in the second half and made five.
Holliston 20 Bellingham 8 - Holliston's boy's lacrosse team routed Bellingham 20-8 on Friday.
Hopkinton 13 Medway 6 - Hopkinton has to score 10 or more this year to win and that continued on Friday when they tallied 13 goals and beat Medway. Despite that fact, Medway's offense has been much more potent this year and it would take a lot for the Hillers to grab a victory. Dylan McBride scored five times for Hopkinton while DJ Sloan added four and four assists. They jumped out to an early lead and never let up. Hopkinton is now 5-2 overall and 2-0 in the Tri-Valley League. Medway falls to 5-4 and 1-2 in the league.
Hopedale 14 Northbridge 2 - Senior captain Jake Wollensack led the way with four goals and three assists for Hopedale. Blake Moxim had three goals and four assists. Ethan Warren added four goals. The Blue Raiders improved to 8-2 overall and 4-2 in the Mid Mass Lacrosse League. The win snapped a two game losing streak. They will host Auburn on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
