Cannabis Control Commission Set To Issue First Pot License
  

By MyFM's Rick Michaels - In just over a month from now the Cannabis Control Commission will be able to issue its first pot license and this week another 47 businesses qualified for priority review by the CCC including five registered marijuana dispensaries (RMD’s) in the MY-FM Listening area.  Approval was given to a total of 31-RMD’s and 16-applicants who qualified for the commission’s economic empowerment program for priority review.  The application process is next for the following RMD’s in Hopkinton, Hollistic Health Group on Wood Street, in Blackstone, Liberty Compassion Center on Rolling Rock Lane, in Douglas, Medicinal Alternatives on Gilboa Street, in Grafton, Nature’s Remedy of Massachusetts on Cedar Hill Road and in Millis, Commcan, Incorporated on Main Street.   These businesses have been approved for expedited review and can now submit their license applications before other Marijuana retailers and product manufacturers who will have to wait until June 1st to apply for a pot license.
