In celebration of all the great fathers, grandfathers and father figures, Direct Tire and Auto Service of Medway is proud to recognize local “Super Dads” at a special second anniversary event on Saturday June 16th (the day before Father’s Day) from 2-5 p.m. at their location at 72 Main Street, Medway.
Daughters and sons of all ages are invited to submit their Super Dad nomination, explaining in no more than 300 words why their dad is a Super Dad. All nominations can be submitted by form (bit.ly/DirectDad) or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org before the deadline at 5 p.m.on May 16th.
“From diaper changing to driving lessons, fathers play an important role in society,” said Barry Steinberg, founder and CEO of Direct Tire & Auto Service. “As a father who raised children in Medway myself, I know how wonderful and rewarding it is to be a part of this community. We are proud to recognize local dads the day before Father’s Day and the second anniversary of our opening in Medway, and invite all to submit a Super Dad nomination and join us for this public celebration.”
“Dads leave a huge footprint in the world and in the lives of those they influence, and Direct Tire is proud to shine a light on this important issue and play a role in recognizing dynamic local dads,” added Steinberg.
According to the National Fatherhood Initiative, fathering in America needs more recognition now than ever before as there is a father absence crisis: one out of three children in the U.S. live without a biological father in the home. Studies show that children with fathers do better in school and are less likely to engage in risky behaviors. Research also proves dads play a critical role in early childhood verbal development, and dads teach kids to take healthy risks, become independent thinkers, and even have an enhanced sense of wonderment and play.
Just like dad would do, Direct Tire & Auto Service shows you exactly what’s happening in your vehicle with its unique service safety video inspection to expertly diagnose any brake, shock, exhaust, alignment, and preventative maintenance service. Dad would also be proud that Direct Tire offers customers Honda Civic loaner cars, each named after a “high-performance” Medway student/athlete. With all tire purchases, the company offers free flat repairs, tire balancing, free rotation and balancing every 5,000 miles, and free seasonal changeovers with winter tire purchase except run flat tires. The company employs a total of 70 employees, including 12 in Medway – and qualified candidates are always welcome to apply.
