Donald A. Saucier, 78, of Uxbridge passed away Fri. April 13, 2018 at his residence. He was the husband of Doris I. (Lefrancois) Saucier.
Mr. Saucier had been employed as a truck driver for the former Draper Corporation in Hopedale and the former Stanley Woolen Mills in Uxbridge before his
Donald was born Oct. 12, 1939 in Uxbridge the son of the late Edmund and Lucille (Poulin) Saucier and had been a lifelong resident of Uxbridge.
Mr. and Mrs. Saucier had been married for 57 years. He was the proud grandfather to his three grandchildren, Nicole, Matthew and Timothy, Jr.
In addition to his wife Doris, he is survived by three sons; Timothy Saucier and his wife Christine of Charlton, Kenneth Saucier of Whitinsville, Daniel Saucier of Whitinsville, three brothers, John Saucier of Whitinsville, Bernard Saucier of Worcester and Gary Saucier of Worcester, three sisters, Patricia Rousselle of No. Smithfield, Deborah McMahon of No. Smithfield, Jean Ethier of Uxbridge and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Edmund Saucier, Paul Saucier, Richard Saucier, Phillip Saucier, Bernice Desilets, Shirley Dempsey and Lorraine Bernier.
Visiting hours will be held on Fri. April 27, 2018 from 6-8 PM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 N. Main St. (Rt. 122) Uxbridge followed by a memorial service at 7:30 PM in the funeral home.
