Eugene J. (Gene) Krauss, 79, of Milford passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018. He was the much-loved husband of Claudia A. (Manella) Krauss, for 52 years.

Mr. Krauss was born in Milford in 1939, the son of the late Eugene F. and Dina R. (Diotolevi) Krauss. He was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1957. Following graduation, he served in the United States Air Force as a nuclear weapons specialist.

In addition to his wife Claudia of Milford, he is survived by his children, Wendy Krauss of Milford and Jason and his wife (Kara) of Mendon; his sister Kathleen (Krauss) Martin of Milford, a brother-in-law Alfred and his wife Annette Manella of Dennis, a sister-in-law Susan and her husband Edward Iaciofano of Hopedale; two grandchildren, Jack and Max Krauss and several nieces, nephews. Mr. Krauss was predeceased by his brother-in-law Charles Martin of Milford.

Mr. Krauss retired from Raytheon Corporation where he was employed for more than 40 years as an electronics technician. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandsons, and hobbies, including music, fishing, and tinkering with cars and electronics.  

Visiting hours will be held Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 3 – 5 PM in the BUMA SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress St., Milford, MA.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 9 AM from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter St., Milford.

Burial with Military Honors will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Medway Rd. (Rte. 109), Milford.
