By MyFM's Rick Michaels - Hopkinton residents are being asked for their input on the potential future uses for the Center School property once the new Marathon Elementary School opens its doors for the upcoming school year. The Center School Re-Use Advisory Team, which is scheduled to meet tonight, was formed by the Hopkinton Board of Selectmen to explore the future use of the school located on Ash Street and originally constructed back in 1928. Residents are being asked for their input on the project by completing a questionnaire on the town's website and by also taking part in a series of public forums, which will provide an overview of the building and property and include a discussion on the criteria for the committee to consider in making its recommendations. The first public forum will be held a week from this Saturday on February 3rd starting at ten o’clock in the morning at the Hopkinton Senior Center. Residents can also attend tonight's meeting at the Senior Center, to share ideas and ask questions.
