By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The Hopkinton Board of Health will conduct two-public hearings later this month dealing with the Sale of Tobacco and the reduction in single-use plastic check out bags. Hopkinton residents will be able to comment on amendments to increase the Sale of Tobacco Age from 18-to-21 years or older for all smoking and tobacco products. The Board of Health will also take comments about a plastic bag ban in the town. The public hearings on these issues will take place prior to the Town Meeting next month and both will be held on Monday night April 23rd at the Hopkinton Senior Center. The plastic bag ban hearing will be at 5:45 and the Sale of Tobacco Age increase will occur an hour later.
