By MyFM's Rick Michaels - Hopkinton Residents will have six-articles to decide on, at a Special Town Meeting set for next month. The Special Town Meeting Warrant has been released, one of the articles was on the agenda for the Board of Selectmen to discuss last night as voters will be asked to approve a (TIF), a tax increment financing agreement for Lykan Bioscience, for property located at 97 South Street. Lykan and the property owner are planning on implementing a $12 million dollar investment into the property and over the first five-years of this TIF agreement the company would create 125 permanent full-time jobs. Another article will ask Hopkinton residents to approve a supplemental appropriation, increasing the amount of money authorized at a previous Annual Town Meeting for the repair of the Lake Maspenock Dam. The Special Town Meeting will be held Monday night February 11th at the Hopkinton Middle School Auditorium beginning at seven o’clock.
