By MyFM's Rick Michaels - An elderly woman and two firefighters were treated for minor injuries at the scene of a house fire on River Road in Uxbridge yesterday morning. The Uxbridge Fire Department says the investigation into the cause of the fire by the State Fire Marshall's Office is continuing at this time. The blaze broke out around 9:30 yesterday morning at 425 River Road with the first crew on the scene holding fire damage to one room, although there was smoke and heat damage throughout the house. The Blackstone Fire Ambulance crew treated the lone occupant of the home and two firefighters with minor injuries. No one was transported to the hospital. Uxbridge firefighters were assisted at the scene by Mendon, Northbridge, Blackstone, Douglas, Millville and Harrisville, Rhode Island Fire Departments.
