By MyFM's Rick Michaels - Members of the House have come up with a total of 14-hundred amendments to the proposed 41-billion dollar state budget which was released last week by the Ways and Means Committee. More than 40-amendments come from State Representatives in the MY-FM Listening area who want to add what they feel are important projects in the towns they represent. State Representative Brain Murray of Milford filed six amendments... money for Fino Field and the Milford Youth Center in Milford. For Hopedale, Public Safety improvements, renovations to the Mendon Senior Center and money for the Greater Milford Area Regional Substance Abuse and Intervention program. State Representative Jeffrey Roy of Franklin filed 15-amendments. Among them is improvements to King Street park in Franklin and the town’s Veteran's War Memorial parkway. Also assistance for the MetroWest Veteran's District, manufacturing workforce development grants and an Electronic sign for Choate Park in Medway. The budget and the amendments will be reviewed this week before deliberations on the House floor begin on Monday.
