Attleboro 3 Franklin 1 - Franklin's Jackie Cherry took a no-hitter into the fourth inning before losing it on a 2-RBI, two-out double to put Attleboro ahead 2-1. MacKenzie Bergdoll was the one who came up with that big knock, which was one of two hits for her on the day. Attleboro added an insurance run in the sixth and dropped Franklin, 3-1. The only run for the Panthers came in the third when Tara Hartnett drove in Anna Balkus.
Medway 4 Holliston 3 (12 innings) - Sophomore Elisa Cook was 2-for-6 and brought home the game-winner in extra innings to lift Medway over Holliston. The Mustangs are now 4-1 overall and in the Tri-Valley League. Holliston is 2-3 and 1-2 in the TVL. The Panthers had senior Grace Dzindolet go 6-for-7 in the loss. Medway will host Hopkinton on Friday at 3:45 p.m. and Holliston will head to Bellingham on the same day at the same time.
Hopkinton 5 Chicopee 4 - Chicopee put two runners in scoring position with one out in the bottom of the seventh, but Hopkinton shortstop Alyssa McIntire made a diving catch in shallow left and doubled up the runner at second to end the game. The Hillers improved to 2-1 and will go to Millis on Thursday at 4:15 p.m.
