Miss Helen F. Perry, 84, of Milford MA, died Sunday (February 18, 2018) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness.
Helen was born in Bellingham MA, the daughter of the late Fred and the late Lillian (Gagnon) Perry. She attended Bellingham public schools and was first employed at the former Bickford Shoe Company in Milford and then later at REC manufacturing company located in Holliston.
Helen was an active member of the Ladie’s Auxiliary of the VFW Post in Millbury MA, having served on their Honor Guard for many years. She also loved to play bingo and loved to travel, especially to Florida & Bermuda. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family members.
Helen is survived by 2 Sisters: Mrs. Anna Bourbeau of Milford MA and Mrs. Jean Wasnewski of Bellingham MA; also many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces & great grandnephews.
Helen was the sister of the late Paul Perry, the late Alfred Perry and the late Florence Kurzontkowski.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday (February 22nd) from 5pm to 8pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. In accordance with her wishes cremation will follow and a private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
