By MyFM's Rick Michaels - Concussions are traumatic brain injuries that can occur from a fall or blow to the head and of course as we all know, it’s a common injury in contact sports. The Milford Regional Medical Center will be offering a free seminar on concussion treatment later this month. Milford Regional’s Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine has implemented a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists and Speech therapists, to address the various symptoms of concussions. At this seminar you’ll be able learn how this team can help patients return to work, daily activities and sports safely and quickly. The seminar entitled “The Team Approach" Multidisciplinary Treatment for Concussions” will be held Wednesday night April 24th at Milford Regional. The event is free but you need to register for the
seminar by going to milfordregional.org and go to the “Spotlight” listing, on the classes and events page.
