By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The retail sales of Marijuana is showing no signs of slowing down, however the number of retail pot shops opening across the state seems to be bogging down. The Cannabis Control Commission will meet this afternoon and will issue one final license and two provisional licenses, for the sale of recreational Marijuana despite there being about 90 businesses that have submitted applications and the CCC previously saying, about 6-8 shops would open each month. Pot sales continue to remain strong, this past week ending on Monday, gross sales totaled just shy of $5-million and for the 13 weeks of sales, the total is just over $41 million. The CCC will issue three-final licenses today to Good Chemistry of Massachusetts, for a retail shop in Worcester and for cultivating and manufacturing Marijuana in Bellingham, on Williams Way where the company currently operates a Medical-Use of Marijuana facility. The CCC will also issue just two-retail provisional licenses, once again from the western part of the State, from the approximately 90-businesses seeking approval to sell Marijuana.
