By MyFM's Rick Michaels - A massive storm that brought torrential rain and damaging winds Sunday night into early this morning has left almost 320-thousand people without power across the state. Every town in Central Massachusetts, within the MY-FM listening area, are experiencing some power outages, about 15-thousand people. Milford had more than a thousand residents waking up without power, Franklin and Upton about two-thousand, while Uxbridge and Blackstone the hardest hit with close to three-thousand starting the morning in the dark. As you make your way out early this morning you’ll need some extra time. Roads are littered with leaves and tree branches. There’s ponding of water on many roads, the catch basins need clearing. Crews are out there, you just have to slow down. Again, it was the strong winds, some gust over 50 miles per hour, that have knocked down trees and branches landing on power lines and causing the widespread outages.
