The Milford Zoning Board Of Appeals To Meet Tonight

By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The Milford Zoning Board of Appeals is the next stop for a company, hoping to operate a self-serve gas station in Milford, one of just a handful of towns left across the state, that prohibits self-serve pumps. ZBA members will hold a public hearing tonight on the application of Volta Oil Company of Plymouth, for a special permit to allow for the operation of a self-service gas station, at 111 Cedar Street in Milford. The land is owned by Cedar Enterprises of Mendon. The application, which also would include an attendant services pump island as well, needs approval from the ZBA for the special permit, the next step in the process  to begin operations.
