Each year a group of local musicians cram into a small home office/music studio in Uxbridge, affectionately known as The Purple Room, owned and operated by Jon-Paul Royer, and record a parody song for the holiday season. Most of the faces have remained familiar throughout the past three offerings with the addition of some new players here and there. In 2014, the group was small and intimate with a Christmas Santa-seasoned version of Hall and Oates' Sarah Smile (Santa Smile). 2015 got a little bouncy (and viral) with a full-room parody of Bruno Mars's Uptown Funk (North Pole Funk). And just this past Sunday "The Snow Flakes" were at it again with a story about a young boy and his sister nearly getting caught trying to sneak a peak at Santa on Christmas Eve to the tune of Shut Up and Dance With Me.
Featured on this years song is Jon Paul Royer, Jay Tulio, Dan Rice, Kevin Figueiredo, Sara Spector, Carolyn Chaplin, Bill Donovan and Ray Auger. Enjoy!
