By MyFM's rick Michaels - With one week left to pick-up nomination papers to run for Town Office in Milford there’s a possibility we could now see a contested race for a three-year term on the Board of Selectmen. On the first day nomination papers were available, current Chairman of the Board, Michael Walsh indicated his intention to seek re-election to the Board for another three-years. A challenger has surfaced as of yesterday, Ami Clifford of Pearl Street took out nomination papers, both now have a week to submit those papers with 50 or more signatures of registered voters in Milford to then appear on the ballot for the Town Election in April. There will be a contested race for the two-seats on the School Committee as Tarik Miranda, RJ Sheedy and Michael Visconte Jr, have all taken out and returned nomination papers, hoping to be elected to a three-year term. James Ligor is seeking re-election and resident Justin Dulak has also picked-up nomination papers.
