What would ya say you do here?
I look for community connections and ways MyFM Media can support local organizations, non-profits and businesses initiatives.
80’s – Journey, Styx, ABBA, Fleetwood Mac & Elton John are among favorites.
The Sound of Music, Steel Magnolias & Toy Story
Favorite TV shows
My absolute all-time favorite was the Mary Tyler Moore Show, was a Gilmore Girls fan and recent binges have included The Marvelous Mrs. Maizel, Shitts Creek, Hart of Dixie, Jane the Virgin, Grace and Frankie
Nora Roberts & J.D. Robb (Nora Roberts pseudonym), I read everything she writes and usually waiting for the next book in a trilogy season.
Italian, just about anything but nothing beats growing up to Sunday dinners at my grandmother’s in Federal Hill in Providence from Sunday “gravy”, homemade raviolis & braciole.
Favorite local town and why
I live in Hopkinton and was raised in Ashland so they are my top two. I collect Telecron Clocks, Ashland is the home of the Clockers and as everyone knows in regards to Hopkinton “It All Starts Here” (Boston Marathon claim to fame). I appreciate both towns still have small town feel, always run into someone you know at the market or about town and each rally when there is a need in the community to offer support, keeps these two as my local favorites.
Favorite restaurants in the area
Café Sorrento in Milford, Erica’s in Ashland & Alturos in Westboro are favorites for date nights. Best burger in area is TJ Spirits in Ashland and bar pizza Cornell’s in Hopkinton.
Tailgaters & robocalls
Prefer when able to take backroads vs highways to catch hidden gems and take in the drive.
Reality show you would most likely be on
Amazing Race, love scavenger hunts and travel – what a great combination.
Where could we find you on a weekend afternoon?
Summers in Wells ME and rest of the year usually at a community events from farmers markets, local music & arts.
Do you have any unique skills?
Unique? Not really but do try to be very vested in my community and a bit of a social networker as well.
Best concert you attended
My first concert was Laura Branigan at the Chateau deVille in Framingham as a college sophomore (1983) with a small group of friends and a great memory. I have been to tons since but most memorable are ones in more intimate settings including Elton John performing acoustically for a charity event (2008), John Pizzarelli at Bull Run in Clinton (2018), James Taylor & Livingston Taylor at Berklee College and an all-time favorite was David Foster & Friends at Agassi Arena.
Words of wisdom
Be Kind, that simple not always easy but just Be Kind to one another.
