Within Massachusetts there is an extremely diverse region teaming with unique shopping locales, premier restaurants & entertainment, and every possible business or service you could imagine. This vibrant and affluent market is served by ONE locally owned and operated radio station MyFM 101.3, and they’re proud to be “In the Heart of It All,” each and every day.
The 2022 MyFM Quest for the Best highlights the very finest in businesses that the area has to offer – from burgers and pizza to automotive shops and building contractors. It’s an opportunity for owners, employees, customers and fans throughout the community to let their voices be heard. And the people spoke up in a big way, with over 1,300 nominations received and over 450,000 votes cast.
Tom McAuliffe II, President & CEO of MYFM Media, said this contest is a celebration of the local businesses that have endured, innovated and found new and better ways to serve their customers. Small businesses in particular play a critical role in the community, and the pandemic presented extraordinary challenges for many.
A total of 314 gold and silver award winners have been crowned in eleven consolidated categories: Activities and Entertainment, Education, Food and Beverage, Home and Garden, Law, Lifestyle and Beauty, Medical, Real Estate, Services, Shopping, and Vehicle and Services. Winners are displayed at MyFmQuestfortheBest.com and in the 2022 Quest for the Best winners guide magazine. The magazine features 226 glossy pages showcasing the premier businesses in the region. In addition to celebrating the winners, the publication is designed to serve as a guidebook for both locals and visitors seeking the very best that the area has to offer. More than 15,000 copies will be distributed in various locations throughout the region.
“The winners guide is a culmination of hundreds and hundreds of hours of hard work, not just by the MyFM team but also the businesses that completed,” McAuliffe said. “When you pick up the magazine and flip through it and feel the weight of it, I think you’ll agree that it’s the most impressive magazine that this region has ever seen.”
Adding to the prestige, winners all received a prize package featuring gold and/or silver medal(s) along with a window cling and a certificate celebrating their accomplishment.
“I believe we live in the best region in the state because we're not quite Boston, not quite Worcester and not quite Providence. We have easy access to those three wonderful cities, but as our Quest for the Best Winners Guide Magazine shows, everything we truly need is right here where we all choose to live, work and play.” McAuliffe concluded.
