By MyFM's Rick Michaels - A Franklin High School Senior involved in a single vehicle car crash in Bellingham early Saturday morning died of his injuries over the weekend. 18-year old James “Jack” Sewell, of 884 Upper Union Street, was driving home around 2:15 Saturday morning and crashed into a utility pole in Bellingham on Center Street rolling his vehicle over. Sewell became trapped underneath the vehicle while suffering serious injuries. He was taken to a Rhode Island Hospital where he was reportedly taken off life support over the weekend. Sewell was an organ donor. The Franklin Seniors’ life saving gift will help five people.
