Attorney General Maura Healy Plans to Join Lawsuit

By MyFM's Rick Michaels - Amid the backlash from his sweeping immigration ban, President Donald Trump continues to defend his executive order while states, like Massachusetts, begin to take their own actions.  Attorney General Maura Healy is expected to join a lawsuit challenging the President’s immigration order, barring citizens from seven Muslim-majority nations.  Healy, a Democrat, says his actions are unconstitutional and harmful and Monday she received the support of Republican Governor Charlie Baker who says the temporary ban has caused confusion and fear and he wants to talk about his concerns with the Trump administration.  According to the Associated Press, the President is considering another executive order targeting immigrants for deportation if they become dependent on government assistance.
