By MyFM's Rick Michaels - A dirt bike rider in Bellingham, who’s accused of kicking up rocks at a family, with the rocks striking a child, has turned himself in. Bellingham Police say the incident happened on Saturday afternoon on the Southern New England Trunkline Trail (SNETT), a recreational path where dirt bikes are not allowed. The biker was driving erratically, weaving between people when a couple walking with their child in a stroller began recording his behavior. The rider became angry and spun his tire, intentionally kicking dirt and rocks at the family and striking the child in the face. Bellingham Police posted photos of the biker on it's facebook page, saying they wanted to talk with him with several people identifying him and he turned himself in. Bellingham police say aside from illegally riding on the trail, he may also be charged with assaulting the family.
