By MyFM's Rick Michaels - A Blackstone mother charged with two-counts of murder, in the deaths of two of her young children is scheduled to go on trial in June. 35-year old Erika Murray is also facing several counts of assault and battery and reckless endangerment of her other children. Her lawyers are expecting to raise an insanity defense and more than likely will seek a jury waived trial in hopes of delivering arguments during a bench trial for Murray. She was arrested at the home she shared with her boyfriend, on St. Paul Street in Blackstone in August of 2014, following the discovery of the bodies of two-babies, in a home that was filled with garbage. Murray’s next court appearance will be in May for a pre-trial conference, her trial will begin June 4th in Worcester Superior Court. Her boyfriend, 42-year old Ramon Rivera is facing two-counts of assault and battery and reckless endangerment of a child, he is not charged with murder and he’ll be tried separately.
