By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The Milford Regional Medical Center announcing more changes connected to the Corona Virus outbreak, as their off site locations are making adjustments for some of their services and there’s an urgent need at this time, for blood donors. From this point on all ultrasound services at both Milford Regional in Franklin and Blackstone Valley have been suspended as has, mammography services in Franklin. However, off-site X-ray services remain open for walk-in patients, at Milford Regional’s urgent care locations in Milford, Franklin, Hopkinton and Northbridge. The Red Cross is currently facing a severe blood shortage and urgent needs for all blood types. Milford Regional is supporting the ongoing efforts of the Red Cross, to ensure patients continue to have access to a safe, adequate blood supply. A single donation, can save as many as three-lives blood donations will continue to take place at the Blood Donor Center at Milford Regional.
