Call for Artists, Art on the Trail 2021
  

The Hopkinton Cultural Council is inviting all artists to submit their artwork for display during the “2021 Art on the Trail”.
When: The “2021 Art on the Trail” will begin on Thursday, 7-Oct and will end on Sunday, 17-Oct. (Marathon is on 11-Oct). Artists can begin setup from 4-7 Oct.

Where: The “2021 Art on the Trail” will be held on the Center Trail in Hopkinton. The trail is 1.1 miles long and the trailhead is located on Main Street directly across from Hopkinton Lumber. Parking is in the Respite Center parking lot on the left side of Claflin Place just off Main Street.
Call: Open call to artists in Hopkinton and surrounding areas for the creation of original artworks in all visual mediums.
Artists of all mediums and genres are encouraged to apply. (Painting, Printmaking, Illustration, Sculpture, Photography, Installation, Mixed Media, & New Genres).

Theme: “Walk to Inspire” - Dedication and celebration of the 125th Boston Marathon (The theme may include inspirations from Boston Marathon legends like the Hoyt family).

Space and site: Space of 3ft (depth) and 8ft (length along the trail) will be available. The art may be free standing or suspended from a tree branch with fishing line (No nailing to trees).

The artwork will be displayed outdoor and exposed to the elements.

A fee of $25 is required for each submission. Please submit artwork designs by August 15, 2021. The panel of juries will make their decision by August 23, 2021. If your submission is not selected, the $25 fee will be refunded. Go to: https://artonthetrail2021.artcall.org/
