By MyFM's Rick Michaels - A Milford doctor will not be able to renew his physicians license following a decision by the State
Board of Registration in Medicine last week to revoke that right, after discovering he provided substandard care to some of his patients when prescribing opioids. According to the Worcester Telegram and Gazette the board revoked the right of Doctor Eugene Jagella to renew his license after an investigator found he overprescribed for several patients failed to properly review their history and consider alternative treatments for people at risk for opioid abuse. The initial probe into the practices of Doctor Jagella began in April of 2017, he hasn’t been practicing since January of 2018. Even though the investigator was convinced that he cares about his patients and serves some of the neediest patients in Milford those facts are not a defense to the allegations that have been brought against him.
