MILLIS - Fire officials say a three-alarm fire at a Millis apartment complex was likely caused by an electrical problem. 28 people were displaced Wednesday morning after the fire started at Stoney Brook Village. Fire Chief Rick Barrett tells the Daily News there were no people seriously injured but while 18 pets were rescued, three died in the fire. He says it took 90 minutes to get the fire under control and then several more hours to knock it down and stop any flare ups. The Red Cross is helping those that need a place to stay.
