By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The Franklin Board of Health is the latest town to implement a mask advisory requiring employees at
essential businesses to wear a face covering over their mouth and nose, when interacting with the public and when staff can’t maintain a safe social distance of six-feet from co-workers. The Director of Public Health for franklin, Cathleen Liberty says the declaration of the public health emergency order does not require customers to wear masks, instead it strongly urges people entering essential businesses to wear a face covering. This emergency order takes effect today in Franklin with all essential businesses also required to post on their main doors, that customers are urged to wear a mask. The Board of Health members also voted at a special meeting on Monday, to allow restaurants in town, to sell food and other products they will not be able to use.
