By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The Franklin Planning Board has several public hearings scheduled for tonight during their regular meeting dealing with more development projects proposed for the town. Planning Board members will review a preliminary subdivision plan application titled “Prospect Farms” submitted by Maddi North Street development of Franklin. The site for the development, is on land on Prospect and Washington Streets. The proposal is asking to construct 59-single family residential building lots. There is also a new plan for a proposed condominium development on West Central Street, that has already been before the Planning Board. The original plan called for 30-units at the location, that was rejected with the new plan calling for 24-units. Meanwhile under construction at this time is a 257-rental unit complex on Dean Avenue about a quarter of mile from the downtown Franklin area and one of the town’s two commuter rail stations.
