By MyFM's rick Michaels - Franklin Police say a Stoughton man is facing several charges following a report of a forced breaking and entering over the Memorial Day weekend, occurring at the home of a deceased, decorated war veteran during his funeral with Milford Police saying they’re looking to see if he is connected to similar crimes reported last month in Milford and similar crimes in Holliston. 37 year old Daniel Lennon of Stoughton was arrested at a condominium complex, right across the street from the Franklin Police Station, Lennon is charged with breaking and entering for a misdemeanor, malicious destruction of property, possession of burglarious tools, Possession of a Class “E” substance, for being disorderly and there was also an active warrant out for his arrest, from the United State Marshalls Service. Franklin Police arrested Lennon on the property at 163 Highwood Drive shortly after one o’clock Saturday afternoon after Wrentham Police notified Franklin a man broke into the veteran's daughter's home in Wrentham Saturday morning during his funeral. Lennon was arraigned in Wrentham District Court yesterday and was initially held on $50,000 cash bail during the investigation Franklin Police found documents, indicating Lennon had been targeting homes of families who had lost family members. According to court documents, Lennon has 45-previous cases dating back to the year 2000.
