Franklin Police K9 Retires
  

The Franklin Police Department announce the retirement of K9 Ehre.  K9 Ehre served the town of Franklin for ten years. During his service K9 Ehre was involved in search and rescue operations for missing elderly and children. K9 Ehre responded to crimes and located suspects in hiding. K9 Ehre performed over 100 K9 demonstrations for children and civic groups. K9 Ehre's greatest success was in locating illegal drugs, primarily Heroin.  K9 Ehre not only worked in Franklin but with other Metro‐LEC agencies, MA State Police, ICE and the DEA.  K9 Ehre will be enjoying his retirement at Officer Gilboy's home. Thank you for your service K9 Ehre. Enjoy your retirement, you deserve it.
