By MyFM's Rick Michaels - Franklin Town Councilors will meet tonight with about a dozen resolutions and zoning by-law amendments to vote on. Among them is a project to better define the town’s zoning districts, by following parcel lines so each parcel of land, is in one zoning district at this time, some parcels are locate in two or more zoning districts. Town Council will vote tonight to send the project to a second reading, if councilors support the proposed zoning map amendment, the matter could be referred to the Planning Board for a public hearing. The parcels of land are located in areas on or near King Street, Summer Street, Lawrence Drive and Uncas Avenue. Franklin town councilors will also vote to approve a resolution to borrow two-million dollars and appropriate the money to pay for the cost of designing and construction a new Well, at Well #3 and to design and construct a water treatment plant to service Wells #3 and #6.
