By MyFM's John Wilbur- Hundreds turned out to see the magic happen as Fox 25 rolled into Franklin Town Common on Friday morning for their Zip Trip feature. Fox 25 picks a different town each week to highlight throughout the summer and today was Franklins turn. The band South Street Six performed and sounded great, while residents of the town hustled about hoping for a selfie with one of the anchors of the Fox News cast. Anchor Gene Lavanchy talked with junior reporters, town dignitaries and business owners, who enjoyed a few minutes of fame getting interviewed live on the morning news. While the children bounced the morning away in one of the many bounce houses that were set up on the common. In all it was a great morning in Franklin with the Fox 25 Zip trip a huge success. The Franklin food pantry was also set up on the common collecting boxes of healthy cereal during the event.
