George Arthur Crisci, 75 of Hopkinton passed away Wednesday January 1st after a period of declining
health.
George was the son of late Victor E. and Agnes (Frole) Crisci. He was born in the Bronx, NY, raised in

Leominster MA and as a young adult returned to the Bronx where he launched his career in the garment
industry that led him to travels around the world including several years in Durbin, South Africa before
creating his home on Lake Maspenock in Hopkinton MA with his soulmate Julie.
George was the ultimate host, loved his family and friends deeply and was generous to all he met in his path. He truly lived every moment to the fullest enjoying legendary pirate themed parties, decorating his boat for the 4th of July parade (which he won twice!) and he was an award winning meatball maker. He especially loved hosting his family and the extensive community of friends who became like family at his lake home where a generation of children knew him as Uncle George with fresh popcorn, hotdogs, fishing on his docks and being entertained to music by the Rat Pack from his vintage juke box and his

legendary story telling. George was very active in the community with memberships in the Montgomery Masonic Lodge, Allepo Shrine, Woodville Rod & Gun Club and the Lake Maspenock Preservation Association. George is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years Julie (Grebowicz) who he shared an amazing life full of adventure and merriment. He was pre-deceased by a son Steven M. Crisci and his brother Victor E. Crisci Jr. In addition he is survived by his step mother Maddalena Crisci of, Fl, his son John A. Crisci of Ft. Lauderdale FL his daughter Arlene Bovee of Buford GA, his four brothers Danny & David Crisci both from Leominster MA, Wayne & William Aho both from Fitchburg MA, his 5 sisters Susan Doirion and Sharon Aho both from Fitchburg MA, Nancy Samrow of Metairie LA, Virginia Elliot who resides in Germany and Melanie Patterson of Fitzwilliam NH. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren Kyle, Kurtis & Katelynn Crisci and Danielle & Laura Bovee, many nieces, nephews, his sister in law Kristine Grebowicz

and community of friends who will all miss George dearly. In lieu of traditional services raise your glass preferably a good Chianti to George, appreciate the moments with those you love and in late Spring there will be a Celebration of Life party and if you know George he loved a good party.
