Harold W. Davidson, 88, of Uxbridge and formerly of Hopedale passed away Sat. Dec. 5, 2020 in the UMass Medical Center, Worcester. He was the husband of Myrtle I. (Fuller) Davidson.
Mr. Davidson had worked with Waters Corp. at their Taunton location for 20 years before retiring in 1995.
He was born February 13, 1932 in Marlborough the son of the late Clifton and Mavorette (Wilbur) Davidson and graduated from Grafton High School, class of 1950. He was a Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Harold enjoyed bowling with his Upton Seniors bowling league, woodworking, following the NE Patriots and Boston Red Sox and playing cribbage. In his youth, he loved to play baseball and in later years, enjoyed an occasional trip to Foxwoods.
In addition to his wife Myrtle of 66 years, he is survived by a daughter, Cheryl A. and her husband Fred Volpicelli of Milford, his sons, Brian F. and his wife Paula Davidson of AL, Bruce A. and his wife Christine Davidson of WA, Scott H. and his wife Victoria Davidson of Douglas and Timothy G. and his wife Laurie Davidson of Blackstone; his sister, Lois Spearin of MS and eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Ernest Davidson of Bristol, NH.
Funeral services will be private in the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, Milford. Burial will follow with full military honors in Hopedale Village Cemetery, Hopedale. There are no public visiting hours.
