incredABLE 5K - HMEA's 17th walk, run and all-day family fun 

Celebrating the ABLE in all of us. 

HMEA celebrates the values, dreams and potential of individuals with disabilities and their families. Join us for the 5K walk, race and all-day family fun! Food. Music. Activities for the entire family.

 EVENT DETAILS 

HMEA's 17th Annual incredABLE 5K, is an all-inclusive event, taking place on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Dell EMC in Franklin, MA. Fox25 news anchor, Gene Lavanchy, will be returning to his co-hosting duties, along with former New England Patriots "ALL PRO" Linebacker, Steve Nelson.

Nearly 2,500 people attend and the event is for the whole community. Proceeds directly benefit children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.

 5K RACE 

The race portion of the event is a competitive 5K on an USATF certified course, which will begin at 9:00 AM (registration begins at 8:00 AM).  A "Kids Fun Run" is held after the race.

 COMMUNITY WALK 

The walk steps off at 11:00 AM (sign-in begins at 10:00 AM). This walk is designed so you can set your own pace, whether you’re out for an aerobic walk or a leisurely stroll through the beautifully landscaped Franklin Industrial Park you’re sure to enjoy the exercise! Another “Kids Fun Run” is held after the walk.

 ALL-DAY FAMILY FUN 

We have activities GALORE starting at 10:00 AM. There's entertainment and refreshments; a "Kids Corner" with lots of activities and prizes; a Kids FREE raffle, a very affordable "Dream Raffle" featuring many terrific prizes; and a 50/50 Raffle where you might find yourself the winner of $5K at the 5K! And, there's so much more.

During the registration process, we ask runners and walkers to consider helping us out even more by opening a personal fundraising page that you create and email to your family and friends asking for their support as you raise funds for people with special needs. Just follow the steps to create your page. 

5K Race Participants: If you will not be participating in fundrasing, you can register at www.racewire.com/hmea. Day of registration will also be available for $30.
