Hopedale Jr.-Sr. High School held the annual Internship & Capstone Fair on Thursday May 19, 2022 in the Media Center at Hopedale Jr.-Sr. High School. Thirty four students shared their learning experiences in either work-based learning or project-based learning during the school year. The Hopedale Community is very proud of the student's hard work in off-campus internships and student centered "passion projects". Students demonstrated at the Fair their career skills gained such as teaching & instruction, leadership, project management, and time management. Communication skills, taking initiative, professionalism, and teamwork were some of the foundational skills gained by all students who participated in the Internship & Capstone Program during the year. School leadership, faculty, students, and local businesses were in attendance on the 19th. Local businesses and organizations that supported HHS students this year include the following: Active Physical Therapy (Bellingham), Birchler Automotive (Milford), Hopedale Memorial Elementary School (Mrs. Slusarz & Ms. Siefring), Hopedale Jr.-Sr. High School (Mrs. Oliveri, Mrs. Buchanan, Mrs. Urmston, Mrs. Palin, Mrs. McGrath, & Mr. Chatham), Hopedale Fire Department, Hopedale Highway Department, JT's Diesel Performance, Lioce Properties LLC (Milford), Milford Area Chamber of Commerce, Milford TV, Right Angle Home Improvements (Hopedale), Top Dog Daycare (Medway), True Performance Training (Medway).
Congratulations to all of the Hopedale High School students who completed work-based learning or project-based learning and participated in the Internship & Capstone Fair on May 19th.
