By MyFM's Rick Michaels - State Police responded to a report of an erratic vehicle Tuesday night Southbound on Route 495 in Marlboro shortly after six o’clock. The car reached speeds of 100 miles per hour, eventually crashing after a short chase with the driver then taking off and moments later getting struck by two-vehicles, Northbound on Route 495 in Hopkinton. The driver has been identified as a 27-year old Billerica man he was the only occupant of the vehicle and did suffered serious injuries when he was struck first by a vehicle being driven by a 56-year old Medway man. State Police say the Billerica man refused to stop and a short time later he lost control and spun into the median near Exit 21 in Hopkinton. He then took off on foot with State Police asking the assistance of ATV’s from Milford Police to search for the suspect in woods and the bike path in the area however about ten-minutes later, State Police received several calls of a male pedestrian being struck on 495 Northbound. It’s not known at this time what charges the man is facing. An accident reconstruction team closed two northbound lanes and one southbound lane of traffic to investigate reopening all lanes around 9:20 Tuesday night.
