HOPKINTON - Two Hopkinton High School students have won a state STEM competition sponsored by Samsung. Kaizar Rangwala and Jacob Dold won the state level of the National Samsung Solve for Tomorrow competition which asks students to consider how STEM can be used to create change in their communities. The Hopkinton Independent reports that the two guys won with a project centered on MRIs and brain scans and they garnered the high school $12,000 worth of Samsung resources toward the next part of the competition.
