HOPKINTON - The Hopkinton School District is reportedly holding off on some proposed cuts in special education instructors in next year’s budget. At Thursday’s School Committee meeting members instructed the superintendent to restore most of the proposed changes following strong reactions from parents as well as teachers. The Hopkinton Independent reports the crux of the issue is finding money to add a special ed administrator because they currently have only one director for 771 students and are being asked for more programs.
