Hopkinton Summer Concert Series Schedule

The Hopkinton Summer Concert Series opens this Friday, June 19 with acoustic rock band Lower Level. Playing a selection of favorite songs from country, hip-hop, rock n' roll, country, and folk.

Audiences are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, and picnics with them on the common. Food and beverages will be available for sale from the Uxbridge First Night Food Truck.


Friday June 19th

Lucky Bob (4pm)

Robert Clarke ( Boston Magician and Juggler ) started performing at the age of 16. Training under “The Suspenders” a juggling group from his hometown ( Cape Cod, MA ) Robert began learning juggling, magic and comedy skills, it was then he knew that this was the beginning of his career.

Lower Level (6pm to 8pm)

Lower Level is an acoustic rock band, playing all your favorite songs from country, hip hop, and Rock and Roll! Our style of music is taken from all genres, including hip hop, rock, r & b, country and some folk. You can find us at some of the best pubs and venues across New England…please say hello if it’s your first Lower Level show!!


Sunday June 28th

Disney Princesses

ESL Theater Actors bring Disney Princesses to the concert!
Enter Stage Left Theater is a non-profit, full-service community performing arts organization dedicated to promoting quality theatrical programs for all ages.

The Reminisants (5pm to 7pm)

The Reminisants have been entertaining audiences of all ages throughout New England since 1973. The band specializes in music from the 1950’s through the 90’s, playing a collection of great music for all kinds of musical tastes and generations.


Sunday July 12th

Animal Adventures (4pm)

Eight to ten animals presented in a one-hour session. Meet the animals, hear interesting stories and information about them and get close. Controlled petting and touching is allowed at the discretion of the Animal Adventure Guide. A fun and unique learning experience to be enjoyed by all!

The Roy Scott Big Band (5pm to 7pm)

The repertoire of the Roy Scott Big Band covers over 60 years of great music from the original classics of the Swing Era to the current hits of the Swing Revival. Our summer concerts feature a wide range of favorites – swing, jazz, rock, pop, “cool” jazz, funk, bebop, blues, and Latin. Enjoy the full rich sound only a fully instrumented 19-piece big band can provide.


Sunday July 19th

Instrument Petting Zoo (4pm)

Metrowest Symphony Orchestra offers a fun way for children to explore musical instruments.

The Metrowest Symphony Orchestra (5pm to 7pm)

The Metrowest Symphony Orchestra’s mission is to provide high quality programs of established symphonic repertoire, enriched by contemporary works and other artistic disciplines for the enjoyment and education of both its members and the Metrowest community.

This talented blend of professional and volunteer musicians is dedicated to entertaining, educating and encouraging the audiences of today and tomorrow.


Sunday July 26th

Barn Babies (4pm)

Barn Babies (aka Barnyard Babies) is not just a traveling petting zoo, it’s an opportunity for people of all ages to finally touch and hold animals.

The Times Square Band (5pm to 7pm)

The “Times Square Band” is one of the region’s top bands, covering musical styles from the Swing Era to Top 40; from Rock and Roll to Motown.


Sunday August 2nd

Motyko (4pm)

Motoko specializes in telling stories from Japan, combined with participatory songs and mime movements. She also tells tales from China, Korea, and Southeast Asia. Her stories are humorous and wise, and impart cultural lessons and morals.

Hopkinton Community Summer Band (5pm to 7pm)

The Hopkinton Music Association is again sponsoring the eleventh annual Hopkinton Community Summer Band. The band is open to the greater Hopkinton Community ages 14 and up.


Sunday August 9th

Mad Science (4pm)

Mad Science of Greater Boston puts on a great show for the littlest scientists. Children are guaranteed to have a fun time while learning more about science.

The Glamour Girls

The Glamour Girls present a song selection ranging from the swing of the 40’s to the late 50’s/early 60’s Sock Hop to the Motown/Soul era, to the disco dance hits of the 70’s, to the pop/rock chart-toppers of the 80’s and 90’s to current hits of today. Artists covered include The Andrews Sisters, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Aretha Franklin, Sister Sledge, Gloria Gaynor, Madonna, The B-52s, The Bangles, Pat Benatar, Adele, Katy Perry and many more.


Sunday August 16th

The Missy Maxfield Project (5pm to 7pm)

The Missy Maxfield Project is five member cover band located in the Metro West and surrounding area. We are a cover band covering a wide range and variety of music of both male and female artists. Music from the 60’s to now. We play some songs you hear bands cover and some you don’t hear all the time.


The Summer Concert Series is made possible in part by support from the Barbara Corbett-Dobson and Dave Dobson Memorial Fund. Barbara Corbett-Dobson was a longtime Hopkinton resident who loved and supported these family-friendly events on the Common.
