HOPKINTON - Hopkinton Town Meeting starts tonight at 7pm at the Hopkinton Middle School Auditorium. The warrant has 48 articles which include about $300 million in construction projects under consideration over the next five years which the town Appropriations Committee says are mostly for public schools facilities. The Committee’s approved report on the warrant says as for the overall town budget, the tax bill for the “average” $753,300 home will go up about 2.9% or about $345 next year.
