By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The State remains in the “RED” highest risk category with the overall numbers slightly climbing in the past week, while the local COVID numbers reveal several towns showing improvements or holding steady. Most communities in the MyFM listening area remain in the “RED”, however in Milford the number of cases per 100,000 dropped from 62.9 to 46.8 cases and the positivity rate fell from 9.79 to 8.89%. Also showing improvement in the “RED” were Franklin, Bellingham, Uxbridge, Upton, Blackstone and Douglas. Slight increases were reported in Hopedale, Holliston and Plainville. Northbridge moved back into the “RED”. It’s numbers remain right along the line. The town bounces between the “RED” and “YELLOW” categories, while those towns remaining in the moderate risk category for another week are Hopkinton, Medway and Mendon, although the numbers for all three-towns did rise slightly from last Thursday’s weekly report.
