By MyFM's Rick Michaels - Two communities made their way out of the State’s highest COVID-19 risk category this week, Holliston was one of them, dropping into the “YELLOW” moderate risk category and joining several other towns in the immediate MyFM listening area as most towns are seeing their numbers trending upward. Holliston last week reported 9.3 cases per 100,000 residents putting the town in the “RED” highest risk category. However this week, at 5.70 cases, it falls into the moderate risk category with Milford at 7.80 and Medway at 7.65. Uxbridge shows up at 6.49, Hopkinton 5.70, and Northbridge at 3.97. In the “GREEN” lower risk category, Franklin and Wrentham are both at 3.17 cases per 100,000. The Department of Public Health saying, overall, there were 19 communities put into the highest risk category where there are now 40 cities and towns with the closest to the MyFM listening area being Framingham and Attleboro. The Statewide COVID-19 incidence rate is 7.3 cases per 100,000 at 8 cases the State would be in the highest risk category.
