By MyFM's Rick Michaels - Most of the towns in the MyFM Listening area have been designated as a Level 3 Critical Drought area due to five months of below normal rainfall while groundwater is starting to see below normal conditions and we also have had above average temperatures. Milford, Bellingham and Franklin are among the towns hit hardest which has also rendered grasses, shrubs and forests to be very dry leading to high risk of brush and wildland fires. Residents are being asked to do their part as it relates to water conservation and outdoor fire safety. Level 3 Critical Drought means a stop on all outdoor watering, prohibits new landscapes and an increased reliance on mandatory conservation measures to augment voluntary measures.
